We only release equipment once the rental contract is signed and payment or a valid purchase order is received.
4.2 Equipment Condition
Our team inspects and services every machine before each hire. You should also check the equipment upon delivery and report any visible issues immediately. Once accepted, we consider the equipment to be in good working order.
4.3 Use of Equipment
You agree to:
Use all machines safely and for lawful purposes only.
Ensure only qualified operators use the machinery.
Take full responsibility for the equipment while it is in your care.
Any misuse, neglect, or damage during the rental period is your responsibility.
4.4 Equipment Returns
Please return the equipment in the same condition you received it, except for normal wear and tear. Late returns may result in extra charges. If the equipment is damaged due to misuse, we will bill you for repairs or replacement.
5. Payments and Charges
Payments are due according to your rental contract.
All prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
If payments are late, we may charge interest or pause your rental services until the balance is cleared.
We may also adjust future prices without prior notice, but only for new rental agreements.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before delivery without a fee.
If you cancel later or fail to collect the equipment, your deposit may be forfeited.
We process refunds, when applicable, within 7–10 business days.
7. Liability and Insurance
While we maintain general business insurance, it’s your responsibility to ensure that our equipment is covered by your on-site insurance during the rental period.
We are not responsible for:
Losses caused by delays, misuse, or mechanical failure.
Any indirect or consequential damages.
You are responsible for the safe use of all rented machinery.
8. Maintenance and Repairs
We handle all major servicing and repairs before delivery. During the rental period, you must follow our maintenance instructions.
If you notice a problem, contact us immediately.
Do not attempt to repair or modify the equipment yourself — doing so may void your agreement and make you liable for damages.
9. Intellectual Property
Everything on our website — including images, text, and logos — belongs to JCK Mining Rentals (PTY) LTD.
You may not copy, reuse, or share our materials without written permission.
10. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. We handle your personal data according to our Privacy Policy, in line with POPIA (the Protection of Personal Information Act).
We never sell your information, and we only use it to provide and improve our services.
11. Termination of Services
We may suspend or end a rental agreement or service if you:
If termination occurs, you must immediately return all equipment in your possession.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions follow the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes will be handled in a South African court with proper jurisdiction.
We always aim to resolve matters quickly and fairly before formal legal action.
